Q: What is the cost?
A: Half Marathon: $55 thru Jan. 1st \\ $65 from Jan 2nd - Feb 14th \\ $75 from Feb 15th - April 15th (half marathon registration closes on April 15th at midnight)
    2-person Relay: $90 thru Feb 14th \\ $105 from Feb 15th - April 15th
    Glow Run 5k: $25 thru Feb 14th \\ $35 from Feb 15th - April 15th

Q. What is the physical address of the start/finish lines, expo, and the packet pickup?
A. All RussVegas 1/2 Marathon weekend-related events will begin at or around the Russellville Downtown Depot, located at 201 N. Denver Street.

Q: What time does the Half Marathon start?
A: 7:30am.  However, the 3:15 pace group will start earlier at 6:30 am.

Q: What time does the Kids Mile start?
A: 7:00pm on Friday night.

Q: What time does the 5k Glow Run start?
A: 8:15pm on Friday night.

Q: What time is the Expo downtown?
A: 6:00-10:00pm on Friday night.

Q: When and where is packet pickup exactly?

Q: Where am I registered to pick up my packet?
A: Visit the "Who's Registered" page and select your event. Your name along with your packet pickup location should be listed.

Q: Is packet pick-up available on race day?
A: We are sorry for the inconvenience but we will not offer packet pick-up on race day. However, we DO have a loose policy in place to allow others to pick your packet up for you... even as late as 8:30pm the evening prior to the race.

Q. Can we pickup our 5k packets when we pick up our Half marathon packet?
A. No, 5k packets will be distributed beginning at 7:00p on Friday April 21st.  

Q: Where do I pick up my race packet for the glow run 5k and the kids mile?
A: Packets will be distributed approximately 1 hour prior to race start time at the train depot in downtown Russellville.

Q: Can somebody else pick up my packet for me?
A: Yes. All that they will need is a copy of your ID.

Q: What is the Half Marathon Training Program?
A: 15 week training program specifically designed to get you across the finish line as fast and safely as possible. We will be meeting each Saturday morning beginning Jan. 9th at 8:00am at Russellville Junior High School. Each participant will receive a technical shirt, a training program, as well as some good friends to run with and keep you on your toes. We will have an informational training meeting on Thursday January 7th at the Russellville Chamber of Commerce at 7:00pm. For anyone who might be interested and not sure what to expect, as well as those experienced runners that are looking for some good people to train with.  Click here to register.

Q: Will I be able to run with my child during the Kids Mile?
A: Due to safety concerns, parents will not be able to run the Kids Mile with their children.  We have selected a group of pre-screened volunteers to run with the children so that we can keep them safe and the course clear of any unexpected hazards.

Q: Do the participants of the relay, 5k, and kids mile get a finishers medal?
A: Yes, all participants in RussVegas races receive finishers medals.

Q: Will I be able to pick up my packet for the 5K or Kids mile when I pick up my half marathon packet?
A: Unfortunately, no. The 5k and Kids Mile packets will only be distributed beginning approximately one hour before the start time at the depot at 204 N. Denver St.

Q: What is prohibited?
A: Unregistered runners, unauthorized vehicles, bicycles, skateboards, in-line roller skates, baby joggers or strollers, and all animals are strictly prohibited on the course to ensure runner safety and comply with liability insurance requirements. Any type of unauthorized support or pacing will not be allowed including, but not limited to, support from a car/vehicle (fluid bottles, splits, etc.), as such support will be considered an unfair advantage. Breaking these rules will result in ejection/disqualification from the race.  Headphones and other electronic listening devices are allowed. Always be aware of runners coming up behind you and the inherent danger of running in the presence of vehicular traffic.

Q: How long will the course be open?
A: Timing will conclude at 11:30 a.m. The course will close at various intervals prior to 11:30 a.m., and participants are then asked to move to the side of the road or continue on the sidewalks where available.

Q: Is the RussVegas Half Marathon Course flat or hilly?
A: The course will be one of the flattest and fastest courses around. There are a couple of small hills and two overpasses. Other than that it is very flat. It is a great course for a PR.

Q: Who is doing the race timing?
A: Stearns Race Timing of Jonesboro, AR is chip timing the race.

Q: What pace groups will be available at the race?
A: There will be two pacers per each time slot: 1:50, 1:55, 2:00, 2:10, 2:20
2:30, 2:45, 3:00, 3:15.

Q: If I am unable to participate in the marathon, can I transfer my registration to another participant?

A: Yes, there is a $5 transfer fee and a form that needs to be completed and sent to the return address on the form by April 1st, 2016.  You can download the form here.

Q: What do I do if I have not received my confirmation email to pickup my packet?
A: All you will need is a copy of your ID.

Q: What if my friend is picking up my packet for me?  What do they need?
A: They will need a copy of your ID.

Q: If I register for the Half and 5k do I automatically get the Double-Down medal?
A: Yes, just come by the packet pickup area on the east side of the depot after the Half on Saturday and show them your medal and they will compare your name with the finisher list from the 5k and hand you your double down medal. 

Q: If I participate in the Glow Run 5k and the 2-Person Relay, will I be able to receive the Double Down medal?
A: No.  The Double Down medal is for participants that run both the 13.1 Half Marathon and the Glow Run 5k only.  However, each participant in the 2-Person Relay will receive the same swag as the 13.1 participants.
